Shelley’s Laserdome war ein Nachtclub in Longton, Stoke-on-Trent (Staffordshire, England), der seinerzeit für den ersten Technosound auf der „Insel“ im Großdiskothekenformat stand. Es war das Herzstück der House- und Rave-Szene in den frühen 1990er Jahren. Beeindruckende Bilder und bunte ausufernde Tanzextasen umrunden das ganze Szenario mit MC zu einem seltenen Fundstück.

Was at Shelleys on this night on my Birthday and got talking to a guy the Toilets, turned out to be Mickey Lynas the late Amnesia promoter (R.I.P). He said he would send me the video once it was made and he did! (I didn’t think he really would) I thought it was long lost but turned up the other week so decided to rip it :) I’m on it in a few places but there’s usually someone dancing in the way. The club was blighted by drug dealing and regular (albeit mostly underground) violence between rival gangs. Staffordshire Police and local authorities revoked the license from management due to these issues. The club’s final night was Thursday 12 September 1992.
